Slow Cooker Barbecued Beef Ribs
Tender, juicy beef ribs slow-cooked until they’re fall-apart delicious, coated in a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce. An easy comfort-food dinner the whole family will love!
Ingredients:
- 2–3 lbs beef ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- ½ cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Pat the beef ribs dry and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, making sure they are well coated.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the ribs are very tender.
- Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.
- Brush generously with additional barbecue sauce.
- Broil for 2–4 minutes, watching closely, until the sauce becomes sticky and caramelized.
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve with coleslaw, mashed potatoes, baked beans, or corn on the cob for the ultimate barbecue-style meal.
