Nana’s Juicy Garlic Butter Pork Chops

Tender, juicy pork chops seared until golden and finished in a rich garlic butter sauce. Simple, comforting, and packed with old-fashioned homemade flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
  5. Cook for about 30 seconds, stirring the garlic so it doesn’t burn.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle in the Italian seasoning. Scrape up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  7. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the pork chops and simmer for 3–5 minutes, or until the pork reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
  8. Remove from the heat and let the chops rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Spoon the pan sauce over the chops and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, green beans, or roasted vegetables for a comforting family dinner.
