Cheesy Creamed Corn Potatoes Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) potatoes, peeled and diced into cubes
  • 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) creamed corn
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and add the diced potatoes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the creamed corn, cream, melted butter, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of the shredded cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture over the potatoes and stir gently to coat.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the potatoes are nearly tender.
  7. Remove the foil and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for another 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  9. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Cook Time: 60–70 minutes
Servings: 6
