Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 4 large chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Filling
- 2 cups broccoli florets, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Steam or microwave the broccoli until just tender, then chop finely.
- In a bowl, mix broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Using a sharp knife, cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the broccoli-cheese mixture and secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Brush chicken with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over the chicken.
- Place chicken in the prepared baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
