Strawberry Crackle Salad
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh Strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup mini Marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped Pecans
- 1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 2–3 tbsp sugar or honey (optional, to taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Fold in whipped cream until light and fluffy.
- Add sugar/honey and vanilla if using. Mix gently.
- Stir in strawberries, marshmallows, and pecans.
- Mix just until everything is coated (don’t overmix so strawberries don’t break down).
- Chill for 30–60 minutes before serving.
Optional add-ins:
- Crushed pineapple for extra juiciness
- Graham cracker crumbs for a “crunch dessert” vibe
- Coconut flakes for a tropical twist
It’s basically a creamy fruit salad with a “crackle” from marshmallows and nuts — best served cold and fresh.
