Crockpot Hot Dog Chili
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Break the meat apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
- Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, and water. Stir everything together until well combined.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours. Stir occasionally if possible.
- Once thick and flavorful, serve hot over grilled hot dogs, fries, burgers, or baked potatoes.

Tips
- For extra flavor, let the chili cook longer on LOW.
- You can freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper if you like it spicy.
