Cheesy Potato Beef Burritos
Golden crispy potatoes, juicy seasoned beef, and loads of melted cheese all wrapped in a warm tortilla… this burrito is pure comfort in every bite! Perfect for dinner, game night, or whenever you need something extra satisfying
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 3 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/2 cup salsa or taco sauce
- 2 tbsp butter or oil
Instructions:
- Bake the tater tots according to package instructions until crispy and golden.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 more minutes.
- Slightly crush the crispy tater tots with a fork.
- Warm tortillas so they’re easier to fold.
- Fill each tortilla with beef mixture, tater tots, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
- Fold into burritos tightly.
- Heat butter or oil in a skillet and toast burritos 2–3 minutes per side until crispy and golden brown.
- Slice and serve hot with extra salsa or cheese sauce
