Ingredients
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Optional Add-Ins
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Crushed bacon for topping
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a little oil.
Step 2: Season the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Rub them lightly with olive oil, then season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Step 3: Make the Ranch Sauce
In a medium bowl, mix together:
- Ranch seasoning mix
- Sour cream
- Cream of chicken soup
Stir until smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Assemble
Place the pork chops in the prepared baking dish. Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chop. If using onions or mushrooms, scatter them around the pork chops.
Step 5: Bake
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15–20 minutes, or until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
If you want a golden cheesy topping, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
Step 6: Serve
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and crispy bacon if desired.
