Meat Lovers Pizza Bread

Savory, cheesy, and packed with bold Italian flavors, this pizza bread is the ultimate comfort bite. With seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and a golden crust, it’s perfect for family dinners, game nights, or anytime you’re craving something hearty and satisfying.

 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra richness)
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 loaf French bread (or Italian bread), sliced in half lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the beef
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
    Stir in oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Prepare the bread
    Place the sliced bread halves on the baking sheet, cut side up.
    Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  4. Assemble
    Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bread.
    Add the cooked beef, then top with mozzarella, cheddar, and pepperoni if using.
  5. Bake
    Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
  6. Serve
    Slice into pieces and serve hot. Perfect as a main dish or a crowd-pleasing appetizer!

 Tips:

  • Add cooked sausage or bacon for a true “meat lovers” version
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a fresh finish
  • Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping
