Keto Garlic Butter Roasted Cabbage

 Ingredients:

  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Prepare the cabbage
    Remove any damaged outer leaves. Cut the cabbage into thick slices or wedges (about 2–3 cm thick).
  3. Make garlic butter
    In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Arrange on baking tray
    Place cabbage slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Brush generously
    Coat each piece with the garlic butter mixture, making sure it gets into the layers.
  6. Roast
    Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are crispy and golden brown.
  7. Serve hot
    Optional: sprinkle with fresh parsley or grated Parmesan (if your keto allows).

 Tips:

  • For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
  • Add chili flakes if you like a little heat
  • Works great as a side with grilled chicken, steak, or fish.
