Keto Garlic Butter Roasted Cabbage
Ingredients:
- 1 large green cabbage
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Prepare the cabbage
Remove any damaged outer leaves. Cut the cabbage into thick slices or wedges (about 2–3 cm thick). - Make garlic butter
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. - Arrange on baking tray
Place cabbage slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. - Brush generously
Coat each piece with the garlic butter mixture, making sure it gets into the layers. - Roast
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are crispy and golden brown. - Serve hot
Optional: sprinkle with fresh parsley or grated Parmesan (if your keto allows).
Tips:
- For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
- Add chili flakes if you like a little heat
- Works great as a side with grilled chicken, steak, or fish.
