Baked Cheesy Ground Beef Pasta Casserole

A cozy, family-friendly pasta bake with savory beef, tomato sauce, and melty cheese.

Ingredients

  • 500 g small pasta (macaroni or similar)
  • 400–500 g ground beef
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups tomato sauce (or tomato paste diluted with a little water)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Chopped parsley
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or any good melting cheese)
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until well browned.
  4. Stir in the red bell pepper, spices, and tomato sauce. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the chopped parsley and mix.
  6. Combine the pasta with the beef sauce.
  7. Transfer everything to a baking dish and sprinkle cheese over the top.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until the cheese melts and lightly browns.
