Baked Cheesy Ground Beef Pasta Casserole
A cozy, family-friendly pasta bake with savory beef, tomato sauce, and melty cheese.
Ingredients
- 500 g small pasta (macaroni or similar)
- 400–500 g ground beef
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups tomato sauce (or tomato paste diluted with a little water)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Chopped parsley
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or any good melting cheese)
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the ground beef and cook until well browned.
- Stir in the red bell pepper, spices, and tomato sauce. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Add the chopped parsley and mix.
- Combine the pasta with the beef sauce.
- Transfer everything to a baking dish and sprinkle cheese over the top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until the cheese melts and lightly browns.
