Air Fryer Baked Potato Crispy Skin & Fluffy Inside

 Time:

  • Prep: 5 minutes
  • Cook: 15–20 minutes
  • Total: about 20–25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2–4 medium potatoes
  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the potatoes:
    Scrub the potatoes well and pat them dry. Use a fork to poke a few holes in each potato (this prevents them from bursting in the microwave).
  2. Microwave first:
    Place the potatoes in the microwave and cook for about 5 minutes, until slightly tender.
  3. Season:
    Remove them, rub with olive oil, and sprinkle generously with sea salt (and black pepper if you like).
  4. Air fry:
    Place the potatoes in the air fryer at 200°C (400°F) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skin is crispy.
  5. Serve:
    Slice open and add your favorite toppings: butter , cheese , sour cream, or even chicken or tuna.

Tips:

  • For larger potatoes, add a few extra minutes.
  • Dry skin = crispier results, so don’t skip drying them well.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for best crispiness.
