 Bacon Cheeseburger Sheet Lasagna

 Ingredients

Meat Layer

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1.5 lbs (680 g) ground beef
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Bacon Layer

  • 8–10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Cheese & Pasta

  • 9–12 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups béchamel sauce or cheese sauce (optional but recommended)

Optional Toppings

  • Pickles, chopped (for burger flavor twist)
  • Extra ketchup & mustard drizzle

 Instructions

1. Prepare the meat

Heat olive oil in a large pan.
Add diced onion and cook until soft.
Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook for 2–3 more minutes, then remove from heat.

2. Prepare bacon

Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces. Set aside.

3. Assemble the lasagna

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a baking dish, layer in this order:

  1. Thin layer of sauce (béchamel or meat juices)
  2. Lasagna noodles
  3. Meat mixture
  4. Bacon
  5. Cheddar + mozzarella cheese

Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.

4. Bake

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

5. Rest & serve

Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing so it holds its shape.

 Result

A rich, cheesy, smoky cheeseburger-style lasagna with crispy bacon and creamy layers—basically a burger in lasagna form.
