4-Ingredient Irish Nachos
Ingredients:
- 4 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2–3 tablespoons green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the potatoes
- Wash them well (you can leave the skin on).
- Slice into thin rounds.
- Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through,
- Until the potatoes are golden and crispy.
- Add toppings
- Remove from the oven.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the potatoes.
- Add the crumbled bacon on top.
- Melt the cheese
- Return to the oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Serve
- Top with chopped green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy
Tips:
- Add sour cream or ranch dressing for extra flavor.
- You can swap bacon with chicken or keep it vegetarian.
