French Dip Biscuits

 Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 8 slices deli roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

For the au jus :

  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Flatten each biscuit slightly using your hands or a rolling pin.
  3. Place 1 slice of roast beef and 1 slice of cheese in the center of each biscuit.
  4. Fold and seal the edges tightly to form a ball.
  5. Arrange the filled biscuits seam-side down in a baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, mix:
    • melted butter
    • garlic powder
    • parsley
  7. Brush the tops of the biscuits with the butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.

 Make the au jus:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the au jus mix + water.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer for a few minutes until ready.

 Serving:

Serve the warm biscuits with the au jus on the side for dipping
