Cheesy BBQ Chicken Pizza Rolls

Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

For the Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup corn (for a sweet twist)

For Topping:

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Set your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the filling
    In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
    Add mozzarella cheese and any optional ingredients, then stir.
  3. Roll out the dough
    On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle.
  4. Add the filling
    Spread the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll it up
    Tightly roll the dough into a log (like cinnamon rolls).
  6. Slice
    Cut into 1–1.5 inch pieces and place them on the baking tray.
  7. Add topping
    Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over the rolls.
  8. Bake
    Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Serve
    Let cool slightly, sprinkle parsley, and serve warm. Extra BBQ sauce for dipping

 Tips

  • Use rotisserie chicken for extra flavor and speed
  • Don’t overfill or the rolls may open while baking
  • Add cheddar cheese for a stronger cheesy taste
