Chicken Caesar Smash Tacos – The Ultimate Flavor Fusion!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs minced chicken
- 10 mini tortillas
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Caesar Salad Topping
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup Caesar dressing
- 1 cup croutons, lightly crushed
Optional Add-Ons
- Cherry tomatoes, halved
- Red onion, thinly sliced
- Extra Parmesan for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season the chicken
In a bowl, mix the minced chicken with salt and black pepper. - Smash onto tortillas
Divide the chicken into 10 portions. Press a thin, even layer of chicken directly onto one side of each mini tortilla. - Cook
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the tortilla chicken-side down into the pan. Cook for 4–5 minutes until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
Flip and cook the tortilla side for 1–2 minutes until lightly crisp. - Prepare the Caesar topping
In a bowl, toss chopped romaine, Parmesan, Caesar dressing, and crushed croutons. - Assemble
Remove tacos from the pan. Top each with the Caesar salad mixture and any optional add-ons. - Serve
Finish with extra Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
Tips
- Press the chicken very thin so it cooks quickly and sticks to the tortilla.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if needed.
