 Hot Crab Dip

 Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can (or ~1 cup) lump crab meat, drained
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions (optional)

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Set to 180°C (350°F)
  2. Mix the base
    • In a bowl, combine:
      cream cheese + mayonnaise + sour cream
    • Mix until smooth and creamy
  3. Add flavor
    • Stir in garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper
  4. Add crab & cheese
    • Fold in crab meat, cheddar, and half of the Parmesan
  5. Transfer to dish
    • Spread into a small baking dish
    • Top with remaining Parmesan
  6. Bake
    • Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly
    • Optional: broil 2–3 minutes for a golden top

Serve hot with:

  • Tortilla chips
  • Toasted bread (crostini)
  • Crackers
  • Veggies (carrots, celery)

 Tips

  • Add a dash of hot sauce for spice
  • Use mozzarella for extra stretchiness
  • For a richer taste, add a little Old Bay seasoning
