Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 4 cups milk
- ½ cup sugar
Optional (for serving): powdered sugar or cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine everything
In a slow cooker (or pot), add:- rice
- milk
- sugar
Stir well.
- Cook slowly
- Cook on LOW for 2½ to 3½ hours
- Stir every 45–60 minutes if possible
- Check texture
The pudding is ready when:- rice is soft
- mixture becomes thick and creamy
- Let it rest
Turn off heat and let sit 10–15 minutes to thicken more. - Serve
- Serve warm or chilled
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on top if you like
