Slow Cooker Barbecued Beef Ribs

Tender, juicy beef ribs slow-cooked until they’re fall-apart delicious, coated in a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce. An easy comfort-food dinner the whole family will love!

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 lbs beef ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Pat the beef ribs dry and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the ribs are very tender.
  6. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush generously with additional barbecue sauce.
  8. Broil for 2–4 minutes, watching closely, until the sauce becomes sticky and caramelized.
  9. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serve with coleslaw, mashed potatoes, baked beans, or corn on the cob for the ultimate barbecue-style meal.
