LongHorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for even cooking.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat well in the Parmesan bread crumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing and melted butter. Spread a little over each chicken breast.
- Top each piece with shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
