Juicy Oven Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients
- 1 pork tenderloin (1–1.5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and oregano.
- Rub olive oil over the pork, then coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear pork for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
- Add butter on top of the pork.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and roast for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with roasted vegetables, potatoes, or salad.
Tips
- Do not overcook or the pork may dry out.
- A meat thermometer gives the best results.
- Letting the meat rest keeps it juicy.
