 Slow Cooker Glazed Pork Roast

 Ingredients:

  • 1.5–2 kg (3–4 lbs) pork shoulder or pork butt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 4–6 pepperoncini peppers (optional but recommended)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (or a mix of BBQ + honey for sweetness)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & black pepper

 Instructions:

  1. Sear the pork (optional but worth it)
    Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the pork on all sides until browned.
  2. Add to slow cooker
    Place the pork inside your crockpot.
  3. Season & build flavor
    Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix over the top.
    Add garlic and pepperoncini peppers.
  4. Add butter & sauce
    Place butter on top and pour BBQ sauce over everything.
  5. Cook low & slow
    • LOW: 8 hours
    • HIGH: 5–6 hours
  6. Finish (for that crispy top look)
    Transfer to oven and broil for 5–10 minutes to get that caramelized crust like in the
  7. Serve
    Spoon the juices over the meat or shred it for sandwiches.

 Tips:

  • Add a little brown sugar or honey if you want it sweeter
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or bread
  • The sauce gets even better the next day
