French Dip Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 8 slices deli roast beef
- 8 slices provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
For the au jus :
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 2 cups water
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Flatten each biscuit slightly using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place 1 slice of roast beef and 1 slice of cheese in the center of each biscuit.
- Fold and seal the edges tightly to form a ball.
- Arrange the filled biscuits seam-side down in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix:
- melted butter
- garlic powder
- parsley
- Brush the tops of the biscuits with the butter mixture.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
Make the au jus:
- In a saucepan, combine the au jus mix + water.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for a few minutes until ready.
Serving:
Serve the warm biscuits with the au jus on the side for dipping
