Cheesy Potato Rounds
Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced into thin rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Sour cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly and slice them into thin, even rounds.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the potato slices and toss them until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange the potato rounds in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning the slices halfway through cooking.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and return them to the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with sour cream, if desired.
Tips
- For extra crispiness, soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
- You can add bacon bits, green onions, or a pinch of chili flakes for more flavor.
