Oven-Baked 3-Ingredient Pork Chops with Pineapple
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple slices, with the juice reserved
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, stir together the barbecue sauce and ¼ cup of the reserved pineapple juice.
- Spoon the sauce evenly over the pork chops.
- Place one pineapple slice on top of each pork chop.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for 15–20 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- For a caramelized finish, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end of cooking.
- Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
