Garlic Butter Chicken & Broccoli
Juicy, golden-seared chicken and crisp-tender broccoli tossed in a rich, buttery garlic sauce. This quick one-pan dinner is packed with flavor, ready in just 30 minutes, and perfect served over rice, pasta, or enjoyed on its own.
Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Broccoli
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons water
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli and 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and steam for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Push the broccoli to one side of the skillet. Add the butter and let it melt.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss everything together until coated in the garlic butter sauce.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if using.
- Serve immediately while hot.
