Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes

Ingredients

For the Potatoes

  • 3 large potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

For the Steak

  • 2 strip steaks (about 10 oz / 280 g each), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1–2 teaspoons steak seasoning (optional)

Garlic Butter

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and dice the potatoes into small cubes. Toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried parsley until evenly coated.

Step 2: Air Fry the Potatoes

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the potatoes in the basket and cook for 20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5–7 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.

Step 3: Season the Steak

While the potatoes cook, pat the steak dry and cut it into bite-sized cubes. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and steak seasoning.

Step 4: Cook the Steak

Remove the potatoes from the basket and keep them warm. Add the steak bites to the air fryer and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway through. Cook a little longer if you prefer the steak more done.

Step 5: Make the Garlic Butter

Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Stir in the minced garlic and dried parsley until well combined.

Step 6: Combine and Serve

Place the crispy potatoes on a serving platter, top with the steak bites, and drizzle the garlic butter over everything. Toss gently to coat and serve immediately.

Optional Garnishes

  • Fresh chopped parsley
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Lemon wedges
  • Red pepper flakes for a little heat

Tips

  • Sirloin, strip steak, or ribeye all work well.
  • Cut the steak into evenly sized cubes for even cooking.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for the crispiest potatoes and best sear on the steak.
