Baked Pork Chops with Creamy Cheese Sauce

- 6 boneless pork chops, thick-cut
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Creamy Cheese Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
- Transfer pork chops to a greased baking dish.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until melted and creamy.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the pork chops.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables for a delicious, comforting meal!
