Cream Cheese Stuffed Red Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 2 large red bell peppers
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 6–8 slices turkey deli meat or smoked turkey slices
  • Black pepper or Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the red peppers well, then slice them lengthwise and remove the seeds and inner membranes.
  2. Pat the peppers dry with paper towels so they stay nice and crisp.
  3. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese inside each pepper slice.
  4. Add one or two slices of turkey deli meat on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Sprinkle with black pepper or Italian seasoning for extra flavor if desired.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before serving to let everything set and taste even better.
  7. Serve cold as an easy appetizer, party snack, or light lunch.
