Cream Cheese Stuffed Red Peppers
Ingredients:
- 2 large red bell peppers
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 6–8 slices turkey deli meat or smoked turkey slices
- Black pepper or Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash the red peppers well, then slice them lengthwise and remove the seeds and inner membranes.
- Pat the peppers dry with paper towels so they stay nice and crisp.
- Spread a generous layer of cream cheese inside each pepper slice.
- Add one or two slices of turkey deli meat on top of the cream cheese.
- Sprinkle with black pepper or Italian seasoning for extra flavor if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before serving to let everything set and taste even better.
- Serve cold as an easy appetizer, party snack, or light lunch.
