- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Potatoes
Boil the baby potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes until fork tender.
Drain and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Using the bottom of a glass or potato masher, gently smash each potato.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20–25 minutes until crispy and golden.
2. Cook the Steak Bites
Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.

3. Serve
Plate the cheesy smashed potatoes and top with the garlic butter steak bites.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot.
