BAKED OATMEAL (Easy, Cozy & Meal-Prep Friendly)
This is one of those recipes you make once… and suddenly you’re eating it all week warm, soft, slightly chewy, and perfect for breakfast or snack.
Basic Baked Oatmeal Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1–2 ripe bananas (or ½ cup sugar/maple syrup)
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups milk (any kind)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
Optional add-ins:
- blueberries
- chocolate chips
- chopped apples
- nuts or almonds
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
- In a bowl, mash bananas (or mix sweetener)
- Add eggs, milk, vanilla, and butter → mix well
- Stir in oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt
- Fold in any extras you like
- Pour into a greased baking dish
- Bake 30–40 minutes until golden and set
How to Serve:
- Eat warm with milk
- Add yogurt on top
- Drizzle honey or peanut butter
- Or chill and eat like a snack bar
Tips:
- Let it rest 10 minutes after baking → it firms up perfectly
- For extra soft texture, add a bit more milk
- For crisp top, bake a few extra minutes
