Parmesan Baked Potatoes (Crispy, Cheesy & Golden)
These potatoes come out crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with Parmesan flavor—simple but addictive.
Ingredients
- 4–6 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet)
- 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika (optional for color)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prep the potatoes
Wash and cut potatoes into wedges or thick slices (skin on for extra crispiness).
2. Season
In a large bowl, mix:
- olive oil
- garlic powder
- paprika
- salt & pepper
Toss potatoes until fully coated.
3. Add Parmesan
Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan and toss again so it sticks to the potatoes.
4. Bake
Place potatoes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 35–45 minutes
- Flip halfway through for even crisping
5. Make them extra crispy (optional)
In the last 5 minutes, switch to broil/grill mode until edges turn deep golden and crunchy.

- Burger or steak side dish
- Sprinkle extra Parmesan right after baking for a cheesy finish
Pro tips
- Don’t overcrowd the tray (this helps crisping)
- Use finely grated Parmesan for better crust
- Add a pinch of chili flakes if you want a spicy kick
