Parmesan Baked Potatoes

 Parmesan Baked Potatoes (Crispy, Cheesy & Golden)

These potatoes come out crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with Parmesan flavor—simple but addictive.

Ingredients

  • 4–6 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional for color)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

 Instructions

1. Prep the potatoes

Wash and cut potatoes into wedges or thick slices (skin on for extra crispiness).

2. Season

In a large bowl, mix:

  • olive oil
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • salt & pepper

Toss potatoes until fully coated.

3. Add Parmesan

Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan and toss again so it sticks to the potatoes.

4. Bake

Place potatoes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  • Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 35–45 minutes
  • Flip halfway through for even crisping

5. Make them extra crispy (optional)

In the last 5 minutes, switch to broil/grill mode until edges turn deep golden and crunchy.

 Serving ideas

  • Garlic mayo or ranch dip
  • Burger or steak side dish
  • Sprinkle extra Parmesan right after baking for a cheesy finish

 Pro tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the tray (this helps crisping)
  • Use finely grated Parmesan for better crust
  • Add a pinch of chili flakes if you want a spicy kick
