 Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll-Ups

 Ingredients

  • 500g thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin works best)
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional but recommended)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 6–8 slices provolone cheese (or mozzarella / cheddar)

 Optional Keto “Wrap”

  • Low-carb tortilla wraps OR
  • Large slices of deli roast beef OR
  • Egg wraps (thin omelet-style sheets)

 Instructions

1. Cook the vegetables

Heat butter and olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add onions, peppers, and mushrooms.
Sauté for 6–8 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized.
Season with salt, pepper, and garlic.

2. Cook the beef

Push vegetables to the side of the pan.
Add sliced beef and cook quickly (2–4 minutes) until browned.
Mix everything together so the flavors combine.

3. Melt the cheese

Lower heat and place provolone slices over the mixture.
Cover the pan for 1–2 minutes until cheese is fully melted and gooey.

 4. Make the roll-ups

Lay out your keto wrap (or egg wrap / deli slices).
Scoop the cheesy beef mixture onto each piece.
Roll tightly like a wrap or burrito.

 5. Optional crisp finish

Place roll-ups in a hot pan or oven (200°C for 5–7 minutes)
until the outside is lightly crispy and golden.

 Serving ideas

  • Serve with sugar-free mayo or garlic aioli
  • Side of pickles or keto coleslaw
  • Extra melted cheese drizzle on top
