 Crockpot Steak & Potato Mega Melt

 Ingredients

  • 1.5–2 lbs beef steak (chuck roast or sirloin), cut into chunks
  • 4–5 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 1 cup frozen or canned sweet corn
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)

 The “Mega Melt” Layer

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream or cream cheese (for extra creaminess)
  • Optional: chopped green onions for topping

 Instructions

1. Load the Crockpot

Add steak, potatoes, onion, garlic, and corn into the crockpot.

2. Season it up

Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle all spices evenly over everything.

3. Slow cook

  • Cook on LOW for 7–8 hours
    or
  • HIGH for 4–5 hours
    Until beef is tender and potatoes are soft.

4. Make it creamy & cheesy

About 20 minutes before serving:

  • Stir in cream or cream cheese
  • Add shredded cheddar + mozzarella
  • Cover and let it melt into everything

5. Final touch

Mix gently so the cheese coats the steak and potatoes like a thick, creamy glaze.

 Serving Idea

Top with extra cheese, green onions, or even a drizzle of spicy mayo if you want it next level.
