Cheesy Garlic Bread Loaf

Cheesy Garlic Bread Loaf

Golden on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and loaded with buttery garlic and melty cheese in every bite. This pull-apart loaf is perfect for sharing—serve it hot and watch it disappear in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf Italian or French bread
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Slice the bread loaf in a crisscross pattern (like a grid), without cutting all the way through.
  4. Gently spread the garlic butter mixture deep into all the cuts.
  5. Stuff the mozzarella and cheddar cheese into the cuts, making sure every gap is filled.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
  7. Wrap the loaf loosely in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Open the foil and bake another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the top is slightly crispy.
  9. Serve warm and pull apart to enjoy.

Tips

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Swap parsley with basil for a different herb flavor.
  • Best served fresh from the oven while the cheese is stretchy.
