THE BEST AIR FRYER GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or sandwich bread)
- 2–3 slices cheese (cheddar, American, mozzarella, or a mix)
- 1–2 tablespoons butter (softened)
(or mayo for extra crispiness)
Instructions:
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 2–3 minutes.
- Butter the bread
Spread butter on one side of each slice. - Assemble sandwich
- Place one slice in the air fryer basket, buttered side down
- Add cheese on top
- Cover with second slice, buttered side up
- Air fry
Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 4–5 minutes - Flip carefully
Flip the sandwich and cook another 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crispy. - Serve hot
Slice and enjoy that gooey melted cheese
Tips for the BEST result:
- Use mayo instead of butter for a crispier crust
- Mix cheeses (cheddar + mozzarella = )
- Add extras: tomato slices, turkey, or caramelized onions
