Easy Broccoli Salad

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (raw, bite-sized)
- ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
- ¼–½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds or sliced almonds
For the dressing:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp yogurt or sour cream (optional, for lighter taste)
- 1–2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1–2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- Salt & black pepper
This combo of crunchy broccoli, sweet dried fruit, and creamy dressing is the classic flavor profile.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add broccoli, onion, bacon, dried fruit, and seeds.
- In a separate bowl, whisk all dressing ingredients until smooth.
- Pour dressing over the salad and mix well.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes (optional but recommended).
