Creamy Garlic Chicken (Easy & Delicious Dinner)
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts (whole or sliced)
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream (cooking cream)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or Parmesan)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried thyme
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the chicken:
- Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper
- Cook for about 6–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked
- Remove from the pan and set aside
- Make the sauce:
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth
- Stir well and let it simmer gently
- Add cheese:
- Add the shredded cheese and stir until the sauce becomes creamy and thick
- Combine:
- Return the chicken to the pan
- Let it cook in the sauce for 5 minutes to absorb the flavor
- Serve:
- Garnish with fresh parsley
- Serve with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or bread
