 Description

Light, fluffy, and incredibly moist dessert bars made with crushed pineapple and airy Angel Food Cake mix. These bars are sweet, tropical, and require just a couple of ingredients—perfect for a quick treat.

 Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz / 565 g) crushed pineapple (with juice, not drained)
  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the angel food cake mix.
  3. Pour in the crushed pineapple with all its juice.
  4. Mix well until the batter becomes light, foamy, and fully combined.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract (optional).
  6. Pour batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan (8×8 or 9×9 inch).
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden on top and set.
  8. Let cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar and cut into bars.

  • Do not drain the pineapple—this keeps the bars moist and fluffy.
