4-Ingredient Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 500–700 g beef stew meat (chuck or any cut suitable for slow cooking)
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
(Optional: salt, pepper, garlic powder, or herbs for extra flavor)
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients
Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces if not already done. Chop the potatoes and carrots. - Layer everything
Add the beef, potatoes, and carrots into a large pot, Dutch oven, or slow cooker. - Pour the broth
Add the beef broth over everything. Season lightly if desired. - Cook low and slow
- Stovetop: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5–2 hours
- Slow cooker: Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours
- Oven: Cover and bake at 160°C for about 2–2.5 hours
- Check & serve
The beef should be tender and the vegetables soft. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.

- Want richer flavor? Brown the beef first in a little oil before adding the broth.
