Strawberry Fluff

 Strawberry Fluff (3-Ingredient Potluck Dessert)

“My church ladies absolutely demanded I bring this to the spring potluck again…” — and honestly, once you taste it, you’ll understand why. This light, creamy, and slightly fruity dessert comes together in minutes and always disappears fast!

 Ingredients:

  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed

 Instructions:

  1. Dissolve the gelatin
In a medium mixing bowl, pour the boiling water over the strawberry gelatin powder. Stir continuously for about 2–3 minutes, until the gelatin is completely dissolved and no granules remain.
  2. Let it cool slightly
Allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for about 10–15 minutes. It should still be liquid but no longer hot — this step is important so the whipped topping doesn’t melt.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping
Add the thawed whipped topping to the gelatin mixture. Gently fold everything together using a spatula until fully combined. The texture will become light, airy, and creamy with a soft pink color.
  4. Chill until set
Transfer the mixture into a serving dish (or individual cups if you prefer). Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours, or until fully set and fluffy.
  5. Serve and enjoy
Serve cold straight from the fridge. It’s soft, mousse-like, and incredibly refreshing — perfect for spring gatherings and potlucks.

 Tips & Variations:

  • You can swap strawberry gelatin for raspberry, cherry, or even orange for a different flavor.
  • Add-ins like mini marshmallows, sliced strawberries, or crushed cookies can give it extra texture (though the classic version sticks to 3 ingredients).
  • For a slightly richer taste, mix in a spoonful of cream cheese (not traditional, but very good!).

 Why everyone loves it:

It’s quick, budget-friendly, and has that nostalgic, homemade feel that people associate with family gatherings and church potlucks. Plus, the fluffy texture makes it stand out from heavier desserts.
