Crispy Pork Belly Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork belly (cut into cubes)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey (optional, for a sweet glaze)
Instructions:
- Prepare the pork
- Pat the pork belly dry (very important for crispiness).
- Cut into bite-sized cubes.
- Season
- Mix with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, soy sauce.
- Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for better flavor).
- Bake
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Place pieces on a baking tray (skin side up if possible).
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden.
- Crisp it up
- Turn on the grill (broiler) for 5–10 minutes until the top gets super crispy.
- Optional glaze
- Toss with honey or a garlic sauce while hot.
Tips:
- Dry skin = extra crunch
- Don’t overcrowd the pan
- You can also use an air fryer (180°C for ~25 minutes)
