Ingredients
- 3–4 large russet potatoes, cut into wedges
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. - Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and scrub the potatoes well. Cut each potato into evenly sized wedges to ensure even cooking. - Season the Wedges
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Add the potato wedges and toss until they are fully coated. - Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the wedges on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, skin side down if possible. Make sure they are not overcrowded. - Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wedges are golden brown and crispy. - Add Parmesan
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese over the hot wedges. - Final Bake (Optional)
Return to the oven for 3–5 minutes until the cheese melts and slightly crisps.
Tips
- For extra crispiness, soak the potato wedges in cold water for 20–30 minutes before baking, then dry thoroughly.
- You can add paprika or chili flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or garlic aioli.
