 Pigs in a Blanket

 Ingredients:

  • 1 pack mini sausages (or hot dogs, cut into pieces)
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry)
  • 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
  • Optional: sesame seeds or poppy seeds
  • Optional dips: ketchup, mustard, cheese sauce

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare the dough
    • Unroll the crescent dough.
    • Cut into small triangles or strips.
  3. Wrap the sausages
    • Place one sausage on each piece of dough.
    • Roll it up tightly (like a mini croissant).
  4. Optional topping
    • Brush with beaten egg for a golden color.
    • Sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds if you like.
  5. Bake
    • Place on a baking tray lined with paper.
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve
    • Let cool slightly.
    • Serve warm with your favorite dips.

 Tips:

  • Add cheese inside for extra flavor.
  • Use puff pastry for a more crispy, flaky version.
  • Perfect for snacks, parties, or quick dinners.
