Cheesy Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients:
- 6 slices bread (cut into cubes)
- 1–1½ cups cooked ham (diced)
- 1–2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or any cheese you like)
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ¼ cup butter (melted)
- ½ tsp dry mustard (optional)
- ¼ tsp salt
- Black pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease a baking dish (about 9×13 inch).
- Spread the bread cubes evenly in the dish.
- Add the ham and sprinkle the cheese on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together:
- Eggs
- Milk
- Melted butter
- Salt, pepper, and mustard
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over everything.
- Press lightly so the bread absorbs the liquid.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden and set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.
Tips:
