Garlic Butter Chicken & Noodles
Ingredients:
- 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into small pieces)
- 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 2 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
Instructions:
- Prepare the chicken
Place the raw chicken pieces in a slow cooker. - Make the garlic butter
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic. - Add the butter mixture
Pour the garlic butter over the raw chicken. - Add the broth
Pour in the chicken broth to cover the chicken. - Cook
Cover and cook:- On LOW for 4–5 hours, or
- On HIGH for 2–3 hours
Until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Season
Add salt and black pepper to taste. - Add noodles
Stir in the uncooked egg noodles. Make sure they are mostly covered with liquid. - Finish cooking
Cook on HIGH for another 20–30 minutes, until the noodles are soft.
Tips (optional):
- Add ½ cup heavy cream for a creamy version
- Add vegetables like peas or carrots
- Use chicken thighs for more flavor
