Sliced Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g beef steak (sirloin or flank steak)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
- ½ cup beef broth (or water)
Instructions:
- Prepare the steak:
Slice the beef thinly against the grain for tender pieces. - Heat the pan:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. - Cook the steak:
Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cook for 3–5 minutes until browned. - Add garlic & herbs:
Stir in minced garlic and dried herbs, cook for 1 minute until fragrant. - Simmer:
Pour in beef broth and reduce heat to low.
Let it simmer for 15–20 minutes until the steak is tender and juicy. - Serve:
Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
Tips:
- Always slice steak against the grain for softness.
- Don’t overcook to keep it juicy.
