Sliced Steak Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef steak (sirloin or flank steak)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • ½ cup beef broth (or water)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the steak:
    Slice the beef thinly against the grain for tender pieces.
  2. Heat the pan:
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the steak:
    Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
    Cook for 3–5 minutes until browned.
  4. Add garlic & herbs:
    Stir in minced garlic and dried herbs, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Simmer:
    Pour in beef broth and reduce heat to low.
    Let it simmer for 15–20 minutes until the steak is tender and juicy.
  6. Serve:
    Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.

Tips:

  • Always slice steak against the grain for softness.
  • Don’t overcook to keep it juicy.
  • You can add onions or mushrooms for extra flavor.
