Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Broccoli

  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons water

For the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, add the broccoli and 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and steam for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Push the broccoli to one side of the skillet. Add the butter and let it melt.
  6. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Add the chicken broth, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss everything together until coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if using.
  10. Serve immediately while hot.
