Oven-Baked 4-Ingredient Salsa Chicken
This oven-baked 4-ingredient salsa chicken is one of those weeknight dinners I lean on when work runs late and I still want something homemade. It’s juicy, cheesy, full of flavor, and takes just minutes to prep.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup salsa (your favorite variety)
- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 1½ cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the chicken breasts in the dish and sprinkle both sides with the taco seasoning.
- Pour the salsa evenly over the chicken.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken, and return to the oven for 5–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
